Cloth-covered album, 267x362mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. Album pages are very brittle. The album records the visit to India of a cabinet delegation led by Lord Pethick-Lawrence which met Indian political leaders in New Delhi and Simla. The photographs are mainly portraits including those of Gandhi, Nehru and Jinnah. |
